I recently ended the lease at my old office where I would work and film videos and moved into a home office. I really wanted a nicer / cleaner look and was considering hiring some kinds of pros to come out and build a “set” at my house. I was bracing for quotes of $10K and considering if it was worth it when I just decided to do it myself!

It’s really shocking how LITTLE I did to make such a dramatic change. I’ve included EVERY cost on this post, totaling $471 (including the haircut). Paint, lights, something slightly interesting on the shelves, make all the difference. Everything else is the same including lighting (except the LED lights behind me), camera, etc.

So for $471 and little weekend remodel, I’m now saving $800+/month on office and saved a ton hiring pros to do something similar! I’m pretty happy with the result. What do you think?!
