What Is Arta Finance?

Arta Finance is a financial technology company offering investment management and other wealth management services to accredited investors. While 2026 figures aren't clear, as of October 2023, Arta had over $100 million in assets under management, with roughly $65 million in non-discretionary accounts and roughly $35 million in discretionary accounts.

Its U.S. investment advisor, Arta Finance Wealth Management LLC, is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). While Arta operates a separate Singapore-based business for its global offering, this review focuses on its U.S. operations.

As mentioned, Arta Finance is available to accredited investors. To qualify, you must have a gross income exceeding $200,000 individually or $300,000 jointly with a spouse or partner in each of the past two years, and reasonably expect the same income level this year.

You can also qualify if your individual or joint net worth exceeds $1 million, excluding your primary residence.

What Does It Offer?

Arta Finance offers everything from straightforward managed portfolios to private funds and more customized investments. Here's a closer look at its key services.

Financial Planning and Advisory Services

Arta's digital family office approach combines investment tools with access to financial professionals. Its Personal Investment Advisor service covers investment planning, retirement planning, and risk management. It also offers tax and investment planning services. However, these services are educational and are not meant to replace your accountant or attorney.

High-Yield Cash Reserve And Cash Sweep

Arta's old Harvest Treasuries account has been replaced by the new High-Yield Cash Reserve. It invests through ETFs that hold U.S. Treasuries and no longer functions like a bank savings account. According to Arta, your cash is never locked up, and it currently offers a 3.44% 30-day SEC yield, as of September 4, 2026. Its cash sweep program automatically places uninvested brokerage cash into a money market fund.

Managed Public-Market Portfolios

If you're looking for a simple investment solution, you can purchase core portfolios using aggressive, balanced, or conservative strategies, with a minimum deposit starting at $5,000. For more flexibility, you can create satellite strategies that provide customized stock and ETF exposure.

Direct Indexing

Arta's direct indexing service holds individual stocks and is intended to reflect the S&P 500. You can exclude up to 10 stocks. Arta will also look for tax-loss harvesting opportunities and can sell individual positions at a loss. The minimum investment for this service is $10,000.

Direct indexing may appeal to investors who want more control over their holdings or who have taxable gains to offset. Even if you use this service, you'll want to consult with your tax professional for complete tax advice.

Structured Investments

Structured offerings are “market-linked” investments that offer different risk and return profiles compared to investing directly in the market. Arta Finance's structured products offer a wide range of optionality, but most include some form of “loss prevention” baked into the investment.

Most young investors won’t benefit from Arta Finance’s structured offerings. However, those who are closer to retirement may want to use some of the principal protection options Arta Finance offers.

Private And Alternative Investments

Arta offers clients access to proprietary private investments including private equity and private credit offerings. Because Arta is backed by several major venture capital firms, it has a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities and enticing alternative investments. However, private equity is always a risky investment, and investors should carefully review the terms and conditions before buying into any offer.

AI And Machine Learning

Arta Finances uses machine learning for investment research, trading, and allocation decisions, but it does so with oversight from human employees. On its website, it also mentions using human agents to assist with product questions and portfolio analysis.

With AI capabilities constantly evolving, you'll want to confirm with Arta which tools will be used in your account when you sign up. Just remember that while AI can be a powerful tool, it cannot guarantee that it will produce superior investment performance or returns.

Permanent Life Insurance

Arta Finance offers permanent life insurance, a product the ultra-wealthy use to grow and transfer wealth in a tax-efficient manner. By making this available to its clients, Arta Finance aims to bring financial opportunities to a larger segment of the population.

That said, I recommend consulting an insurance professional before purchasing permanent life insurance with Arta, or any other investment company. While permanent life insurance policies can be beneficial, most Americans are better off with a term life insurance policy, which is simpler and more affordable.

For accredited investors, AUM fees range between 0.10% and 0.50%, depending on the portfolio you choose. Beyond the AUM fee, Arta does not charge any trading commissions, custody fees, or wire transfer fees. Alternative investment pricing starts at 0.50%, and interest is charged on Arta Finance's line of credit product, depending on the amount you borrow.

How Does Arta Finance Compare?

Arta Finance does an excellent job of blending technology with human advice to give clients a full-service financial experience at a low cost. The trouble with Arta Finance is that it doubles down on some of the wrong things.

Whole life insurance products, fancy trading algorithms, alternative investments, and structured products aren’t going to make the average person rich. Most people are going to have to save and invest throughout their lifetime to build wealth. For many, using a low-cost robo-Advisor such as Wealthfront or Betterment may be better than using a platform that has more complex tools.

From a cost perspective, Arta Finance’s fees are similar to the fees charged by other robo-advisors. The company is advertising a lot of low introductory fees right now, so you may want to keep an eye out for fees that could increase over time.

How Do I Open An Arta Finance Account?

To open an Arta Finance account, you need to provide your email address, phone number, name, address, and investor status. Arta Finance needs to ensure you’re an accredited investor to accept you as a client. Arta Finance uses multi-factor authentication to ensure that its investor information is kept safe and secure.

Is It Safe And Secure?

One of the best parts of Arta Finance is its security. The company uses a passwordless verification system with multiple factors of authentication. This methodology dramatically reduces the likelihood that your financial or personal information could be compromised. The assets that Arta invests for its clients are primarily stored at BNY Mellon and other stable banks.

Overall, the Arta Finance investment platform is secure from a theft or identity theft perspective. However, that does not mean that Arta Finance’s investment products are risk-free. Quite the contrary. Many of Arta Finance’s investment options have major risks including downside risks that are not immediately obvious unless you take the time to understand the fine print.

How Do I Contact Arta Finance?

Arta Finance is headquartered in Mountain View, California, but it has locations in both California and Singapore. To contact Arta Finance, call 650-318-3898 or contact the company by using its Contact Page.

Is It Worth It?

Arta Finance is worth considering if you're an accredited investor seeking access to private investments, customized portfolios, or personalized support for more complex wealth management decisions. It offers a wide range of products and services, and I like how it blends AI-powered investment technology with human support. The option to keep cash in high-yielding treasuries is also valuable.

What you have to figure out is how much of Arta's services you'll actually use. If you mainly want to build a diversified portfolio and invest regularly, I would start with a simpler option, such as a robo-advisor or a self-directed brokerage.
