You may have seen that a few weeks ago we shared a job post for a new position at Personal Finance Club. I’m excited to announce that we hired the newest member of the PFC team, Jenn! (@jennmundia aka @esabalumusic)

Before I introduce Jenn, I’d like to thank everyone who applied for the position. We received hundreds of applications, almost all of which were extremely impressive. Applicants made websites, videos, graphics and generally did an amazing job. It was flattering and overwhelming that so many people wanted to join the team. Unfortunately, the brutal math was such that almost everyone had to get a no on this round. It’s not a negative reflection on those who didn’t get picked. I’m sure most would make a fantastic addition to our team, but there was just one spot for now.

That spot went to Jenn! I first met Jenn when I was a guest on HER podcast, Non-Traditional. I really enjoyed the podcast and it always stood out to me among all the podcasts I have been on. I was pumped when I saw her application come in!

Jenn’s background is actually in music and she attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music. She later went on to get an MBA. She has an amazing mix of technical skills, creativity, and business ambition that will be a great asset to our team. There are whispers that she MIGHT even be the driving force behind an upcoming PFC podcast?!

Jenn is LA based (thankfully safe from the fires) so she joins Vivi, Shane, and I as an all Southern California PFC team. (We didn’t plan it this way, it just happened to be).

Please help me welcome Jenn to the PFC team! Go give her a follow!
