Welcome to the world, baby Ty! Baby boy was born 7 lbs, 8 oz on 2/13/25! Mom and baby are healthy and doing great. Dad is experiencing shortness of breath after doing the math on what college will cost in 2043.

A lot can change in two years! Two years ago, I was 42, single, never married, no kids, no prospects. Today I have a family of four! I credit a lot of the success to being purposeful about what I wanted. I also followed my friend Anthony’s advice which was to be very clear about my intentions with women. I also read a great book by @loganury called How to Not Die Alone. So for those later in life that want these things there’s still hope!

I’ll be taking paternity leave for the next two months. Luckily, @jennmundia and the PFC team will be holding down the fort to keep bringing you all that delicious personal finance content you crave!
